Threat analysis
Turn attack surfaces into structured security decisions.Product security
Translate findings into requirements and controls.Expertise
From attack surface to actionable security decisions.
Security engineering
Threat analysis, attack-surface identification, security architecture analysis, secure communication, and security requirements.
Risk analysis & documentation
Structured risk assessment, mitigation definition, security documentation, control thinking, and communication across technical and non-technical teams.
Product security
Working knowledge of automotive and product-security methods, including ISO/SAE 21434, TARA, the Cyber Resilience Act, and IEC 62443 concepts.
Selected project
Applied security analysis, documented end to end.
A practical example of turning an automotive attack scenario into risk decisions and testable security requirements.
Automotive TARA: PKES Relay/Replay Attack
An ISO/SAE 21434–aligned threat analysis of a Passive Keyless Entry and Start system. The project traces a relay/replay attack across the BCM, ESCL, CZC, EPS, and TCU, evaluates impact and attack feasibility, and derives cybersecurity goals, concepts, and requirements.
Experience
Research depth, practical analysis, and clear communication.
Cybersecurity Researcher & Lecturer
Constructor University
Analyzed security architectures and attack scenarios in networked and vehicular systems, documented risks and mitigations, and taught advanced cybersecurity subjects including Cryptography and Network Security.
Research & Teaching Assistant
University of Münster
Investigated privacy risks, trust models, attack scenarios, and communication security in opportunistic and vehicular networks while supporting teaching and student research.
Research Assistant
University of Rostock
Researched trust management, cooperation mechanisms, privacy-preserving communication, and key exchange under adversarial and resource-constrained conditions.
Lecturer
Higher-education institutions
Taught computer networks, programming, system design, and information security, building a lasting practice of making complex technical ideas understandable.
Selected research
Security, privacy, and trust in dynamic networks.
My research examines how distributed and mobile systems can communicate reliably without sacrificing security or privacy.
